I have been a customer of Renton Honda/AutoNation Honda since 1990. Their Service Advisors, especially Bill Ackerman, have always been truthful, courteous, friendly and accurate in estimating the cost and time required for repairs and service. Bill and I have known each other since he became a Service Advisor at Renton Honda. On at least two issues, Bill has initiated calls to Honda Headquarters to get Honda to pay for repairs that were borderline between Honda Warranty and customer responsibility. I have purchased four Honda Accords from this dealership … 1990, 1993, 2006 and 2014, and each has been serviced on the advised schedule. (I still own all but the 1990.) Having dealership Service Advisors that I can trust and believe is the main reason for my loyalty to this dealership.

I made my appointment over the phone. I didn't realize that I wasn't talking with anyone local. She set me up for an appointment, but the Service department didn't have any record of it. I was lucky that they could fit me in. Unfortunately, the appointment ran over by 45 minutes (1:45 pm). I wish they could have thrown in automatic discounts, if I'm considered to be a good customer!

I ordered and paid for a part over a month ago. I was never informed that the part was in. Finally, I called. I had to leave a message. Two days later, no call back. I called, told the story, was given to a manager, given to a service rep, he said my rep would be in later and I’d get a call. That was 4 days ago. Still no call. No explanation. No apologies. I can’t believe that they purposefully don’t want business but I do wonder if they can perform basic functions of a dealership.

I went in there for a oil change, and to check my tire pressure. There is something nice about being greeted at the door with a smile and ‘welcome in!’. I was helped by Jordan? I do believe his name was, he was wonderful. He went over everything that needed to be done and was honest with me in things that could wait a little while longer. In the facility was nice and clean, the chairs were cozy, the coffee was good. I even had magazines to keep me entertained while I waited. Jordan was wonderful and would come and let me know the status of where the oil change was at. He was amazing. (gosh I hope that’s his name) Then there was Aaron, another amazing worker there. He came over after I was getting ready to leave and started to just talk with me, offered me a another cup of coffee on the way out the door. It’s always a pleasure going in there for service. I love going to the Honda in Renton, because you don’t really feel like you are just a number, or someone they can swindle. You are a person and they treat you as such.

Daniel L. was my advisor, I had the first appt of the day. Somewhat last minute for an oil change. He was able to recommend me an option for the low miles I put on my car. I also got an additional maintenance by taking care of the fluid changes as well--service reminder on when to expect brake change for awhile yet. Service was good on time since there was more work to be done and I still got out relatively quickly during checkout/service breakdown.

this was a very poor experience , poor service and follow up. The car was reserved 3 weeks in advance and when we came to pick it up from LA , nothing was done on the car . It took and extra 4 hours to get things done . Do not claim that at AutoNation you do you r 150 points but not even the basics are done as mentioned ( oil change , brake fluids , new tires ) you list it all and oops we did not see he was not done !!!! really .... how professional is that . Like if you go to a restaurant and they forgot to cook the chicken in your plate !!! Staff need to be trained properly . when you spend over $32000 in a used car , you deserve to have it done right I would not recommend this place even if they kind of fixed issues because I had to fight for it . Sad that those huge brand names do not do things right and advertise quality , service and smile and trust !!!!! yeah sure . Be pro and show it , not only in words and on paper

Went to the dealership with a fair idea of specs and budget I wanted in a used car. Greeted right away by the friendly manager who helped me and was showed a couple options. Also was showed a couple extra options I might like including new cars but did not feel pressured into any and even was told about nearby dealerships that “probably had” models I had on my list if this dealership didn’t have it. Was allowed to test drive a couple cars the same day without dealership staff and they allowed us ample time to make our decisions while still taking care of us. We did decide to buy without visiting other places and the process to eventually buy the car the same day was as easy as it could have been!

On my first visit to AutoNation Honda I was shown a very nice 2014 Hyundai Sonata Limited that was just like new. I was told just needed to have a new battery installed, so I was not able to test drive it. The salesman strongly encouraged me to sign a "contract" so no one else could buy it, which I did. I was very excited about this car all weekend. The following Monday I got a call and was told that this car needed a new engine and I should not buy it! I was so disappointed. Nevertheless, after test driving several cars at other dealerships, I called the salesperson back to ask to test drive the 2014 Hyundai Elantra Limited that I eventually bought. I was told that this car was loaned out and would be returned by the end of the day. It turned out that the person did not return the car until Monday afternoon. Fortunately, I had time to go test drive it before work and I decided I liked it and I wanted to buy it. I returned after work to see the financial officer and write up the deal. He was able to work out payments that I can afford. Even with all the stops and starts, everyone at the Honda dealership was very friendly and kind. I've been driving my new car for a week and I really like it. I'm happy with my purchase.

I went to Bellevue Honda to drop off my son's 3 year old leased HR-V and tried to lease another one. The best offer they gave me was to double my lease payment for next 3 years for the same vehicle. Long story short, I went to Renton Honda and got CR-V hybrid for same amount of payment they wanted me to pay for HR-V in Bellevue. Also Bellevue never told me about increased in residual value of the HR-V, where in Renton, they applied that increased in residual value towards downpayment of the CR-V. The floor manager Raj, was great! I would give him 5 stars for letting me know about increased in residual value of my previous leased vehicle can be applied as deposit for a new vehicle. PS. Bellevue called and asked me when I'm going to drop off my leased vehicle!!

Scammy. Charged me for an oil and tire service that I pre-paid for when I bought the car from them. I let them know about the signed agreement when I made my appointment and I gave the advisor the contract when I checked in with him that morning. I caught the error when I got back home that day and have yet to get a call back as I requested a refund. Side note, don’t pre-buy any services when buying a car from them. The oil change/tire rotation/inspection is $61.00 and I bought a ‘package’ for three services for $257.00. Scammy through and through.

One time I got a rental and only once. They ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT CALL YOU to update on your car. Problem not fixed. Currently my boyfriend is stranded because after telling him they'd lyft him...they didn't. I'm 2 counties away. His dad left work to get him. I bought a car from Honda Renton. The sale team were good. The experience was nice without pushing me to make a decision like other dealers do. However, the experience to talk to the customer service was very frustrating. Simply want to know if the maintenance service is covered. It took forever without getting an answer. Every single representative ask me exactly one question, then redirect to another representative till no one is responding. To me, instead of trying to help, the representatives are kicking the customer to each other. They are terrible customer service, but maybe have the potential to be good soccer players if they kick the ball as flexibly as they kick the customer. thumb down👎

Repair work is almost always perfect. However, if you are having repair work done to steering or suspension, always take it back in if you think anything is not correct no matter who does the work. I took the CR-V into Honda to replace a cracked control arm on the front wheel. I noticed that the steering seemed loose and returned it. It turns out that the nut fastening the tie rod was screwed on by only a single thread. No repair shop is perfect, so pay attention to your vehicle after repair.

I searched daily for over a month for a possible vehicle. It was an incredible journey, made up of mostly normal interactions but there were also several negative ones. That all changed when I first interacted with Alex at ANH. He was very professional, very kind, and very informative. There is so much I could say but I will stick to my most recent nightmare. Coolant light on right after purchase. They take it to a BMW and it's fixed. Great. Then on again and they say I have to bring to Honda. They tell me no rental as they dont know if the parts are covered under warranty. Make an appointment for a Monday and Tuesday night no call. I finally get a call Wednesday that they just looked at it and orders a part. fixes my door lock which was another reason I dropped it off. Surprise a rental car coveted 3 days after the fact. But it'll be ready by Thursday. So I don't bother with driving to Renton for a one day rental. Saturday am pick up car. Told coolant is fine light shouldn't come back on for at least a year. Halfway home light back on. Drive back to Renton and my boyfriend has to be firm to get me a rental. Max was amazing by the way. No one else. Told I'll get a call Monday. Tuesday I call because of course Bill in service cannot call. Wednesday I get told that they have no idea and it has to go to BMW and I have to return rental and start all over again oh and may have to pay the deductible I just paid last week! So my boyfriend calls again and they say they'll tow my car to BMW but still have to return rental. I return it because I keep my word. Manager was supposed to call us this am with an update. Never calls surprise. I get an email this evening saying I have an appointment today at 245 at BMW and they can't wait to see me? Um it's passed 245 and you were supposed to tow it there. I call BMW and they don't know where my car is. Are you kidding me? I will NEVER buy another vehicle from any Autonation. Shame on them. Once you sign the deal they are done with you. I have so many stories from that point until now. So disappointing. Oh and I asked them when I brought the car back, " Hey I know you don't clean the cars like other places but could you at least clean up your own

I had an amazing experience here! I bought a car in late January of 2022 and when I tell you the car market was bad, I mean it was TERRIBLE. As a college student in Portland, I needed a very specific car: one with decent mileage, durability, safe, clean, the ability to help me drive to different states, a car brand with a good reputation, and a low price. I looked at 30+ cars (not at this dealership) and hadn’t found anything even relatively decent. I had done a ton of research to learn what to look for when inspecting a car and every single car I had looked at before had some huge problem that the seller wasn’t telling anyone about. Eventually, I got desperate and drove up to Seattle to see my options up there. I had all the money before I went there to ensure that I didn’t go over my budget ($9,500). I ended up going to a different dealership first and they had me there for about three hours trying to sell me their cars that were all way out of my price range. Finally they showed me one that was $9,300 but then they added all the fees and it was suddenly $13,000!!! I finally explained that I couldn’t pay more than $9,500. Period. Then they said they couldn’t help me so I left and went to THIS dealership. I was feeling kind of hopeless, but I wanted to give it a try. I walked in, said my budget was $9,500, and asked if they had any cars. They said they had one car: a 2010 Toyota Camry, 120,000 miles, $8,995. When I saw it I did my inspection and I had a bunch of mechanical questions so they called over a technician to answer them for me. He was a really cool guy and we ended up talking for over four hours. He was honest and he ended up teaching me a lot more about cars and what to look for when looking for a car! He was probably the highlight of that experience. I eventually fell in love with the car. Not only did I not see any serious—or even minor—problems, but it was also super clean and the exterior was in great condition—plus it was in my price range! The technician helping me brought me back to look at the inspection process and let’s just say that it’s a pretty thorough process. I ended up driving the car home from Seattle and had no issues at all. Since then I’ve been driving it pretty much every day and it’s been super reliable. In summary, this dealership is amazing, the people there are super nice and awesome, and the cars they sell are top tier and super reliable!

They have the worst service center and really hard to get a hold of anyone there! The call center are people from other countries. They don’t return your calls in a timely manner. I bought a used car there and brought it in to be serviced after 6 months 2 tires had to be replaced and were failing! Picked up my car wasn’t even washed or cleaned after spending over $1000 for tires. Terrible service!

Bad customer service. My car had a slight flat tire. I tried pumping the car 3 times before taking it in for inspection. The indicator light continues to show deflation. I booked an appointment today and checked out. I told them the situation, they showed me the pump, I gave the key for them to check because I didn't know. I waited 2 hours and then went to see the car, when I came back they said the job was done a long time ago, I asked why they didn't tell me, because I waited here for 2 hours but he refused'. t reply me, just say my car is fine. I will not come back and use the service here again, their eyes look at me as if they don't care, wasting my time.

I've brought in my car for annual service the past ten years & am usually satisfied with the experience. However my last visit lacked the usual professionalism. First when the car was ready for pickup the technician continually called out our last name until we responded. I guess he was too busy to come look for us. Then when I went to the desk he presented me with the bill without explaining what was done and when I asked what should I look for going forward as I normally do, he just brushed me off. I wasn't impressed at the interaction with the technician on this last visit.

I’ve always came to Renton Honda because I have always had a great experience with them, they are very professional and keep their word. I always hear back from them within a good time frame and receive my car back same day as long as they have the parts on site, they definitely keep their word and are great about communicating with you about anything that needs to be fixed and keeping you updated. I looked and looked for a car for my daughter and came up blank. Finally I saw one here. Then the concern is buy from a "used car salesman" and all that stereotypically goes with it. But here the price is the price. If it is not acceptable you don't even go in. If you go in, it isn't going to change. I worked with Paul Diep and he doesn't try to "sell" you a car. He tries to help you find what you need. No pressure, no slick techniques. I actually found out some of his story and it is amazing. The other concern would be buying a lemon. Well they do a thorough inspection and make sure it is good. Then they follow up after you take the car home let's you know that they will take care of you in the future. Good experience.

These (internet) days it's more about finding the car you want than choosing a particular dealership--especially for used cars. Find your vehicle, then compare with Kelly's Book (price competitiveness) and CarFax (which includes maintenance history, as well as accident history). So, why, then, buy from a dealer? And why from this one? As an East-sider, I asked myself this question prior to reserving a vehicle that I'd never looked at physically, and then flying over to pick it up--both heretofore *extremely* high-risk maneuvers in the used car buying process. Here are the things that happened that helped me TRUST Autonation Honda Renton enough to give them my business: 1) Great/PROMPT distance support. Jeff gave me the confidence to book a plane ticket. He worked to reserve the vehicle and then followed-up to ensure it was waiting for me when I arrived. Spotless. Inside. Though it rained outside. From the time I submitted my request for information until the time we spoke on the phone was, like, 20-min. He e-mailed me immediately, and was serious. I called him immediately, equally-serious, and we had it all lined up in under 20-min. 2) "No haggle." From a psychological anchoring perspective this creates a much better environment for pre- and post-purchase. The adversarial nature is significantly reduced, allowing you to spend more time worrying about the automobile you are purchasing. These days, the haggling is all done by the computers anyway, i.e., the KBB algorithm and the various sites' ratings around that number by the time the dealer posts the vehicle for sale. Can you "haggle" better than a computer algorithm? 3) 5-day, 250-mile no hassle return, which allowed me to drive all around Seattle while waiting for the pass to open, and then drive home while still evaluating the vehicle. 4) Pre-purchase inspection. I've had a dealer burn me on this once (Hidy Honda, Beavercreek Ohio) by paying it lip service and then replacing the stock battery with a junker that they didn't even bother to strap down. And I was military on-orders buying in-uniform. Didn't even last over night. But they had funny commercials. So, now I "re-check" as many inspection items myself as possible. And the completely spotless engine compartment made it easier to check--especially underneath. Did I miss something? Probably. Did they? I couldn't find it. So, either super-sneaky (like covering up a head gasket oil leak), or genuine. 5) Service guarantee. The modest "guarantee" on big-ticket inspected items gave me the confidence to pull the trigger (plus, you can buy an extended warranty, if desired). They will honor the guarantee at any "authorized service location," which is good for me since I won't be back to Renton for some time. Because the website didn't mention it explicitly, I am led to believe that only certain vehicles qualify (i.e., age, mileage, etc.). I'm sure the dealership will respond with a clarification if I misunderstood anything here. 6) The vehicle itself. It was a one-of-a-kind, and the detailers treated it with much respect. I used to have a friend who detailed cars on the side, and for him this would have been a four hour job. These days, TRUST is a dirty word because it is used to fleece hard-working folks like you and me. For a DEALER to earn TRUST is huge--almost unprecedented. I TRUST Autonation Honda Renton. And don't forget that this is the internet. I'll update this post if necessary. ;)

I purchased a used Audi at this dealership. The sales person, Omar was very nice all the way through... everyone there has been very pleasant to work with for that matter. But the car I bought had a check engine light on, and they said they knew what the problem was. It needed a new catalytic converter. So I had them put in the sales agreement that the catalytic converter would be repaired. At that time I'd been told that the part had been ordered, and I'd get a call to schedule the repair as soon as it arrived. A few weeks later I got the call asking me to bring the car in. The repair would take 4-5 hours, and I would be given a rental car for the day. I ran some errands, and waited for a call. At the end of the day, I called them and was told it was taking them longer than they thought. Well by the middle of the next week, I called again and was told that they had been delivered the wrong part. I had now had the rental car for a week instead of the 4-5 hours that I was originally told it would be. Consequently, even though AutoNation paid for the car rental, my credit card was charged $300 because I didn't return the car when they were expecting it. It's important to note that every time I was able to talk to someone in the service department at AutoNation, I had to call the sales line, and have a sales person transfer me because I was never once able to get through on the service line. Between early July when I purchased the car, and late October, my girlfriend and I had shuttled the Audi back to the dealership each way, only to have it sit there for several hours, then have to go pick it up because it was not repaired (so if you're keeping score, that's 8 one-way trips between my home and AutoNation Renton Honda which is 30 miles away). In late October, I was assured they had everything they needed to repair the vehicle. But after diving into the repair, they said it was much harder to get to the catalytic converter than they had anticipated, and the repair was going to take a bit longer. Again they gave me a rental car. A few days later, they said they had accidentally damaged the O2 sensor. Then after a couple more days they eventually took the car to a nearby repair shop that works on European vehicles. We got the car back shortly after that. During the last repair, I had talked to the service manager several times. Very nice man. I explained that my girlfriend and I had driven there and back with 2 vehicles, approximately 240 miles each vehicle to shuttle that car back and forth, plus I was out $300 to Enterprise Rental. He told me, 'let's just wait until the car is fixed, then we'll see what we can do about all the trouble you've had.' Two weeks have gone by, and I haven't heard a thing since. I wasn't going to write a review, but I keep getting emails asking me to leave a review, so here it is. Very nice people throughout the dealership, but very poor communication from the service department, and you must call the sales department to reach anyone in the service department. It took 5 months to get the catalytic converter repaired, plus a few hundred dollars out of pocket.

Terrible mechanics who try to scam you out of your money. I came here because I had originally bought my car at an Autonation Honda in Florida, so I thought this would be the most honest and reliable place to get my car serviced. The panel/arm rest in my car door was slightly popping out so I asked them to put it back in place, they said it was impossible because both pieces of the panel were damaged and would take $1500 to replace both parts. I took it to another mechanic and he put it in place in less than an hour. I asked if the panel was broken and had to be replaced and he said "nope it was just not inserted the right way". Autonation charged me the $85 anyway for "attempting to fix it" (which was a lie because it was in the same exact position as when I first came in). My TPMS was also out of wack after changing a flat tire. They said they "fixed" my TPMS, charged me and within 10 min of driving, the TPMS light came back on. I came back told them it was not fixed and they told me it was impossible to fix unless I replace ALL of my tires with new ones. Like what??? My tires are not old, they are all in good shape. Just replace the damn sensor that's broken and let me go on about my day. In the end they charged me for "attemping to fix it" and im still roaming around with a messed up TPMS. Bill was super friendly and so sweet with us, but the mechanics are scammers and just want easy money. Just go somewhere else if you want honest help with your car. By the way, I was there from 10 am until 4 pm. That's 6 hours. 6 HOURS, only to drive away with the same issues that I came in with. Waste of time and money.

Most dealerships have a high pressure environment but I didn’t feel that way at autonation Honda. I got to work with Ray and he was to helpful and catered to all my needs. I had to bring both of my kids with me and he was so nice to them and helped me move my car seats for the test drive and get my son water when he asked him. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

I have been coming to this business even before it became autonation. A lot of the staff are very friendly and have been around for a long time. Compare to most dealerships, because of it being warehouse a long time ago, it is able to display many more vehicles than most. We were excited to find the (certified pre owned) car we had been hunting down for 2 months. We called ahead to schedule an appointment (since we live over 3 hours away). We indicated that we planned to come up after work, pay with cash and head back home. They had the car ready for our appointment and everything looked beautiful, but my husband noticed a leak. We determined it was the coolant line. We were extremely disappointed to find that this was a MAJORLY overlooked issue and all of the service dept had gone home for the evening. Long story short we had to find a hotel and wait until almost 1pm the next day. (They had to replace the entire coolant line as it had been installed entirely incorrectly and created not a leak, but a hole melted into the line, by the engine.) Our sales rep and the shift manager were great. They did what they could for us, which was virtually nothing because they are given NO authority to use their best judgment in regards to customer satisfaction by the powers that be. We did reach out to the store manager who did not reply. Another disappointment. Finally at almost 3 pm (almost 24 hours AFTER our initial appointment) we were signing papers and very ready to go home. We later found out they did a hard pull on our credit report even though we told them ahead of time about our method of payment on full. Disappointing. Not 20 miles from the dealership, a tire alarm went off. We had to get off the freeway (in Seattle traffic during a sideways rainstorm), to check the tire pressure. My husband thinks the sensor is bad which means it wasn't replaced with the tires. Guess if we were disappointed by that. We know that not everything is going to be perfect when buying a used car, but EVERYTHING should be functioning properly, that's what makes them certified. We DID receive reimbursement for our hotel, so that was a (an expected) silver lining. The car really is beautiful and we're very happy with it overall, but will most likely never recommend or do business here again, which is unfortunate for our sales rep and floor manager, as their hands were completely tied. If not for them, this would have been a 2 star review.

This place is a money making machine. They would charge you for the things that they do on the car which they later find out was not required in order to fix your issue. So you are the one who gets to pay for the research and learning of their mechanics. Also, did I talk about ghosting? Good luck getting hold of them and getting the status back of your car. No one will reach out to you to tell you anything about what's happening with your car because who cares about the accountability. Horrible experience and I am yet to get my car back as apparently they started some other work without letting me know.

Brought my car for oil change and wheel alignment. After the work was done, I asked for the wheel alignment report. The service guy said the printer attached to the computer is broken for 2 weeks!! I asked him to email the report. He said that machine cannot send email. He said he will email me the picture of the report. But so far, I haven't seen it. If they can't fix the printer for two weeks, it doesn't bring much confidence in their work. My car wasn't washed either. This was my first time here. I was initially happy about going here, because it was closer. But not anymore.

I went to the guy that checked me in around 1:45 a whole hour later to get an update and he said it would be out soon which I knew was bs because my car was still parked in the same spot and they took my car in around 2. I thought it would be faster if I waited because when I drop off My car i never get a call about it being ready for pick up.

Very poor customer service. Scheduled an appointment. Got there about 30 minutes early and took over 2 hours for oil change. Top things off, the new service associate would not honor online coupon. Said it did not cover oil changes, it does NOT say this in fine print. Unhelpful and spending 88 dollars for over 2 hour oil change is UNACCEPTABLE. Don't go here. Update I did reach out to customer service the same day because I have never had such poor treatment. All I get is back and forth run around. I even forwarded a copy of the online coupon and did not get acknowledgement that there is nothing stated in fine print about oil change. It is sad that AutoNation Honda Renton is willing to lose a long time customer over not honoring a 10 dollar off coupon. It was simple issue to rectify but you guys blew it. I will share this poor experience with anyone who will listen.

Buying a used car can be risky. Owners may not disclose issues, dealers may not find issues and worst of all, dealer can know about issues and not disclose them. For most people is a roulette wheel and the odds are stacked against you. I have honestly owned about 20 vehicles in my lifetime and I’ll just say that half came from a dealership. I also ran the corporate leasing program for a past employer. So I id all of our corporate vehicles, so I literally was involved in a purchase daily. This place was an absolute mess, I came in to pay cash, which should have been a 45-60 minute transaction at most and it took about 4 hours. It was sloppy, incomplete and incompetent. I found out soon after, everybody involved in my transaction was let go. This set the tone and even with new leadership, I had little confidence in this place. In the 3 years since my purchase, there have been a few bumps, fumbles and stumbles, but when I got in touch with Tom, the General Manager, he level set the situation. Ensured I got the service and support I needed and put me on the path to resolution. Unfortunately, doe to poor engineering, I am still experiencing issues, but Tom saw to it that a level of service with executed that removed any doubt that he wasn’t serious about satisfaction. If you are having issues, reach out and if you are having questions reach out. In many ways I would fail this dealership, but I trust Tom and know when he is involved he in seeing to it that you are getting the best. Honda has a ways to go to restore my faith in their product and their commitment to service, but make sure and do your own diligence before making a decision.

I purchased a 2020 Honda CR-V in June from this location and still continuing to chase them in last 5 months for various things they were supposed to give me on the day of purchase. I wanted a Black car with grey leather seats and this was the only location that had inventory of what I was looking for , so choose to purchase at a location 40 miles far from my home. I am deeply frustrated for various reasons: 1) Provided wrong info on the vehicle (The vehicle does not have Traffic Signal Recognition but was told it does when asked over the phone as well as after the purchase, but finally admitted after taking the vehicle to them asked to show the feature). 2) The car was not cleaned well, it had obvious stains both inside and outside and their cleaning staff have left. I was offered full detail for later, which I was not able to schedule even after 6 months. 3) They did not inform me about the missing key and said that one key is lost and are backordered and would take weeks and want me to come back when the key is ready. After few weeks, when I called, they said the key is ready (They didnt even care to call when key came in) and can be picked up. When I went to pick up, they asked me if I booked an appointment with service for programming the key, which is surprise for me as no one told me to do that upfront. So they gave me the key that is not programmed and asked to schedule with service dept to program. The service department is a pain, I have been calling them for 2 months, and for 6 weeks, I was told that they cant find weekend appointment and would call me back which they never do. Finally I was able to secure a Saturday appoint for both programming the key and full details. When I arrived there, they said they dont do detail on weekend and have issue with their CS team wrongly scheduling it. Also, they said the key that I was given didnt have the metal key and ended up sending me back with just a half key. 4) My purchase included all weather mats and didnt inform me that they are out of stock and wanted me to come again to pick them. Over all I need to chase these guys a lot and had to make 5+ visits (Especially 1 hour drive). I would not choose them again if I have an option.

AutoNation lied to me about my Audi S3 inspection report and repairs that were supposedly done to this vehicle. They sold me a car that is not a fully functioning vehicle, as I was told it was, when I purchased it. They have not honored the promise they make in order to obtain business with your guarantee and have left me with a vehicle that has mechanical issues. The cruise control was not working and I notified them by phone and email within their 5 day guarantee period. Their response was "Its yours now, you own it." I took it to another shop to have it looked at. It is a $3100 repair just to get the car fixed enough for the cruise control to work. The supposed repairs that they said were done to the vehicle were in fact not! The bumper is broken on the inside therefore rendering the cruise control inoperable. Their response is "They inspected the car, therefore they will not do anything to repair it or make it function as it should." Once again, they refuse to stand by their supposed promise or guarantee. I have phone records and emails proving I notified them immediately that the cruise control was not working. Cruise control is a standard feature on a high end vehicle such as an Audi. AutoNation of Renton has misrepresented and lied about this car to me. The representative told me this car was repaired and everything was working! Even by insurance, with approved insurance repair shops. This was a lie. They did not do a full inspection of the vehicle or they would have known the cruise control didn't work. If a full inspection was done, then they knowingly sold me a car with inoperable features and intentionally lied about it. Which is against the law. Again, I have phone and email records showing I notified AutoNation of Renton immediately of the cruise control not working. So there is no question that either the inspection did not happen or your representative intentionally lied to me about the car. In addition, the managers have basically told me "You bought it, you own it!" What kind of business is this?! Not even an attempt to make it right! Is this seriously how you treat customers? I don't know how I could recommend this company to anyone with the treatment I have received after spending $30,000k with them. I hope to make sure others don't plan on spending any of their hard earned money at this joint either. They will NOT take care of you!!!!

I bought a 2007 RAV4. It turned to have a lot of rust on the underside. I returned it based on the advise of mechanic and auto body person. I was pretty mad about the fact that they didn't disclose the rust--which is really bad for cars, but their 5 day refund process was very quick and seamless--so for that they get 4 stars.

I did oil change yesterday. The whole visit took around 2 hours. the actual oil change work only took 40 minutes. Then what is the point of making an appointment ? Speaking of making an appointment, I am surprised they charged me $4.23 for the phone call scheduling the oil change services!!! You didn't read it wrong. Yes. Even attorney office won't charge you for scheduling a time to speak with an attorney. An auto dealer customer representative costs me $4.23 to speak with. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!

As most people can attest, purchasing a car can be a daunting experience. Long hours spent with sales and finance managers, it's enough to make most grown adults avoid the process entirely. Purchasing my Honda HR-V was no exception, but these are all great people. My sales manager Mike was extremely knowledgeable (most of his comments went over my head!) but he was respectful all the way through from the initial contact to the once-over toweling down my car as I drove away. Not that I would have known, but the finance manager, Art was dealing with internet outages and was still able to get us out the door relatively quickly. Thanks to everybody at AutoNation Honda for my new car!

DO NOT under any circumstance bring your car here to be serviced! The service associates are manipulating and clearly only want to make money and have 0 regard for their customers. Today I put my trust in my service associate as he recommended a service for my vehicle. After asking and asking he said rest assured this is the right thing to get done. I showed back up to pick up my car and was charged $700!!!! I was presented no estimate of how enormous this total was going to be prior to the service so I was sticker shocked. How can you charge someone over $700 and never tell them this will be the total cost perform performing the service? I never signed anything before hand and was basically scammed and felt very taken advantage of. Even after talking to the manager about my total, he presented me with no notes as to why these services had to be done and no further explanation. Do yourself a favor and bring your car to a Honda dealership that takes pride in servicing their customers. I will never return.

My 2016 Honda Pilot's transmission warning light turning on when driving down I-405 on a road trip to Great Wolf Lodge. A minute later, power steering and emission warning light all turned on. I was 5 minutes from Honda Renton so drove my car directly there. Daniel B. was the service advisor that greeting me there and after hearing my description of the problem, he immediately help find me a rental car (covered if the fixed in done there) and got me back on the road with my 3 kids within an hour. The car ended up needing a full transmission replacement, and it took 3 weeks just to deal with the warranty paperwork (not his fault, it was the warranty companies pointing fingers and attempting to deny the coverage). At the end, it was covered by the warranty and I got my car back by paying a $100 deducible. While it wasn't Honda Renton's fault, Daniel also covered an oil change for free because it took a long time. He is one of the best service advisor I experienced. Thank you for his help, really appreciate it.

We have been loyal customers to AutoNation service center for years. Our last experience leaves us looking elsewhere for service. We made an appointment for an oil change for 10:30am. I asked how long it may take because I could only stay so long. I was told an hour to an hour and a half. I chose to stay and wait. I finally left at 1:15pm and my vehicle hadn't been looked at yet. I received a call at 2:30pm and the oil change had still not been completed. I was informed that it was taking longer because they are short staffed due to the pandemic and I am sympathetic to that. My frustration is due to lack of transparency from the beginning. It is clear they knew it would take longer due to their current situation and I would have a certain level of understanding if that was communicated from the beginning. I do not recommend this service center.

Came in with a two preapprovals and knew exactly the car I wanted and I was still there for 7+ hours and experienced all the things that sales gets a bad rap for - "let me check with my manager a gazillion times", they definitely tried to convince me that the additional costs quoted were standard even though I confirmed with other dealerships in real-time that it wasn't the case, etc. This was by far the worst experience I've had purchasing a car and its the 4th car I've purchased in my adult life. Love my actual car that I spent quite a bit of time researching on my own, hence the two stars, but the dealership won't get my business again.

This is the worse place ever, I’d give it no stars if I could. 2 years ago I co-signed a car loan for my daughter. We were told in 14 months she could remove me from loan and have the car in her name only. Drove 3 hrs to dealership and they said they couldn’t/ wouldn’t do it. Option was to refinance through a bank, or purchase a new car 🤦🏼♀️ What a joke, they are all liars. Went to the bank they said the dealership handles co-signers. Honda has a recall, car was dropped off and had it over night. When we called about the car they said they didn’t have the part- why did they have the car overnight and never called us? Ridiculous service, will never never go there again.

Switched from the SoDo location at the beginning of the year because they are much closer. I was assisted by Aaron R. as my service advisor (helped me my first time as well). He is very friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to answer all my questions and helped solve the mystery of why my 2 of my tires kept losing air. Always quick in and out. I just wait inside and go on my tablet for an hour. SoDo was great, but Renton being less than 10 minutes away is huge and quality of service is 10/10.

Told them the clock did not work- they said they would look into it while key was being redone- still does not work and will not make another 20 mike trip to get it fixed. Will change dealer service location. They did a great job on the oil change and replacing my wipers and billing however.

I originally gave this place a stellar review but I am dialing that back because I've had the vehicle for about 5 months and am already running into issues including a check engine light and a concern w/ the transmission. First try included an online appointment in response to their own outreach which was supposed to make the process seamless and easy. But making an appointment online is useless if you get there and no one has coordinated the ordering of the part needed to do the work. Second time I came back after the part was ordered, I picked up my car at 5:15 since the sign on the door said 7 or 8 but the door is locked. Bill ignores me but the customer he's with opens the door. Bill is annoyed by this. I say hey there the sign on the door says you're not closed yet and Bill yells at me, I don't care what the sign says (seriously). I practically have to beg him to give me my car keys. Anyways, I get in my car and it wouldn't turn over for several seconds and I thought it might just be a fluke. Got it home and went to put stuff in the back seat and saw tools and parts and pieces of my car that were not put back together. Over the next few days the car continues to take about seven seconds to crank over when I start it. I called the service manager and he told me they are all very busy and must've just got pulled away towards the end of the job, that the "all points inspection" is just an observation of how things are doing under the hood and not necessarily in the back seat. There were notes that they started the car to be sure it was running fine but you can imagine at this point I'm highly suspect. He also adds that my car might be cranking over longer to start because of how the new fuel pumps are timing out, like it's probably something I should live with. So I have to explain that I'm not really willing to just live with it and that I do still think something is wrong and that I have little confidence they did the job correctly and should probably bring it back in for them to take it apart again and figure it out. He concedes something might be wrong. The third time I bring my car in I talk to Nate. Nate is pretty much the only human being I've dealt with here that I would ever want to deal with again. I'm told an o-ring was defective and needed to be replaced and my car starts fine now, which it does. I was going to answer yes to the question, do you feel the price paid for services was fair - since I paid zero - but I have to answer no. This was a recall to be done for free anyways, and they performed shoddy work and took up a ton of my time over the course of three Saturdays plus phone calls to get it straightened out.

I bought a 2021 Civic Sport and it had a knick/scuff on the leather of the steering wheel. I took it in and the service rep said it will be replaced with a new wheel under warranty. He schedules me an appointment and I return the following week. When I arrive at the appointment, they say that the wheel damage isn’t covered by warranty? They say that it can only be covered by warranty if the damage was done at the factory, but the car had 7 miles when I bought it. They say the best they can do is get it filled in, but who knows how long that will hold up. While I’m waiting for my rental car to be dropped off, I notice they start putting my brand new car through their automatic car wash with telling me or asking me, scratching the day lights out of the roof and tail lights. Keep in mind, I had the car detailed 2 days prior to dropping it off, and it clearly didn’t need a wash. I then tell them that I didn’t ask for the wash and that they scratched my car upon looking at the paint after the car wash. They rolled their eyes at me and said “What do you want me to do about it?”. I told them to fix it, and the service provider just said he’ll “tell his manager about it”, then sent me on my way with no kind of concern.

The people were very nice and helpful during the sale process. After the intial process you are left on your own to get things done. I traded in my truck for another truck Renton Honda agreed to remove my attached bed toolbox and fifth wheel hitch from one truck to another and install the toolbox in the new truck. I was left to make those arrangements to get it done. I had to go back 3 times to get it completed and I am having to install the tool box. Only reason I recommend them is because the sale process was easy and fast but don't expect any help after the sale.

My new car had a recall and when I called to book an appointment to get the recall fixed, I was told that I would be called back before my appointment to make sure that they are ready for the repair. I was never called back, and when I showed up to my appointment (25-minute drive), I was told that they do not have the part to fix the recall and that they'd call me when they have it. They could have called back and told me the part wasn't ordered instead of letting me make my way to the appointment only to send me home. Such a waste of time.

I had the worst experience with the service advisor Bill Ackerman, who was rude and kept delaying my service appointment. He was extremely demeaning and made my oil change maintenance past due by 172 miles for absolutely no reason at all. He also delayed the repair of my gas door, which was still not fixed after 3 days of maintenance so I must return again. Thankfully, I was able to communicate with his managers Justin Ibanez and Charles Hart. They were very pleasant and understood the concerns I had over the treatment I received from their employee. If you want to go here for repairs, avoid Ackerman because he’ll waste your time and money.

I went in to buy a used car that I had thoroughly researched before I arrived. I was ready to buy it before I got there. AutoNation had pre-priced my trade online and after verification of my claims, paid exactly what they said they would. Sam, the salesperson assigned to my request, was attentive, supportive, efficient and responsive. I am impressed with the level of service provided so far. My only somewhat negative observation is that the building housing this dealership is cavernous. It's a long walk from the door to the desk. You could house a city in there. Perhaps a people mover system would be appropriate. However, that doesn't impact the services provided.

We had timing belt package done on 12/30/19 for our Odyssey. 9/25/20 went in for brake check and oil leakage. The advisor recommended to place the new front break pads and both sides of Axle Seals. After the jobs done, the oil leak still found, on top of that a random noise was found from the new brakes. Literally the worst experience I've ever had at an auto shop. We brought our car in because the check engine light came on and they called back a couple hours later saying that we needed too fix a whole list of problems. After paying to have them fixed, we left and our check engine light was still on. Looking at the receipt, they wrote that they couldn't figure out the problem due to an insufficient charge on the battery (they could have easily charged it or swapped it to perform the $140 test we paid them for). We called them and they said that the things they replaced were just for routine maintenance because of our cars mileage. They didn't say anything about this to us leaving us out over $1000 dollars. What did they do to rectify it with us? They offered to look at it again for free. Thanks for the worst car service I've ever had.

On Black Friday I saw that a new suv came onto the autonation website, it was 200 miles away. I called them to see how the process would work. Over the weekend we got all the paperwork figured out. After driving my car for less than 5 months, he turned to be a LEMON. Issues with the Bluetooth and GPS, Electrical, and missing parts from the manufacturer. Interesting to say that since I contacted Honda, the dealership started to send text, mail, and email about buying a new car using my HRV equity. Why would I buy a new car when my car is new? Clearly, they know the car is a LEMON and don’t want to do the right thing. Very disappointed with Honda and the Dealership.

BUYERS BEWARE - TL:DR: First off, salespeople were great, car we purchased is good. You might think this means you should buy here. I would recommend you do not. The short reason: their finance team was incapable of processing a cash transaction, treated us very poorly, acted very unprofessionally and the managers took no action. Given this experience there is NO REASON to purchase from this dealership, you can easily get better prices elsewhere and you will get treated better by a random craigslist seller than this team. Reading other reviews you can tell that this team is skating by on good reviews from past teams. THIS IS A NEW TEAM, LOOK AT RECENT REVIEWS. More depth: We made the decision to purchase a car in cash from this dealership. It was delivered to our door ~4pm. We filled out paperwork, they said "congrats" and started walking away. We let them know we had not paid yet (maybe we should have just let them walk). Turns out the finance guy (Joshua) just didn't do any of the payment work. Again, we were paying in cash, nothing fancy. 3 hours later, standing in the front yard on the phone the whole time, Joshua assured us that the only way forward was to pay in part that evening and the rest the next morning. He let us know the bank was having problems, there were cash limits, etc. we felt very chastised and embarrassed. They took the car we had just filled out all the paperwork for and drove it back to the dealership. Taking a majority of the cash from our accounts as well. No apologies, no empathy, really ruined what should have been an exciting day. The next morning Joshua told us that actually our bank was having problems, and they couldn't finish the transaction. Despite having taken out a huge sum from our accounts a few hours before. Joshua made sure to patronize us "are you sure you have the money in your account?" over and over again. We were also assured - for hours - that there was nothing they could do. We apologize and bashfully try to reach out to the bank - it really seems like "our fault". 3 hours later - after 6+ calls to the bank - it turns out the bank was not the problem, Joshua just didn't know how to process the transaction. "The dealership was going to need to retry in the evening". We were pretty frustrated, but kept our cool. It was a day wasted, but people make mistakes and we should have been in the clear. So... not our fault. At this point we loop in the manager (Tom). We dont want any deals, we just want our car, and honestly want to stop working with Joshua. Both of us are missing work at this point, just trying to get the purchase across the finish line. We feel trapped because they had all the paperwork and the car. Tom tells us he will intervene. That night, right before closing, Joshua (ugh) gives us a call back. We complete the transaction (woo!). We ask for an ETA on the car, "I'll get someone to bring it over right now". We wait the expected ~20min, only to get a call back from Joshua (ugh) asking how important it is that we get the car today. We let him know we would like this to be over with, so yes, tonight please. He says he will bring it over personally. Two hours later, after 9pm, he calls to make sure we still want it today, we say yes. "Okay I'll head over now". We ask for an ETA, he responds "However long it takes for me to get there". 90 mins later Joshua shows up with a coworker, the co-worker does not have a mask on, Joshua is wearing his mask incorrectly around his chin. At this point it is 10:30pm, Joshua stands right over us as we re-do some paperwork. We ask for the spare keys/manual etc. Joshua replies "Thats not my job, I do paperwork, what do you want from me?". His mask-less coworker then pulls the aforementioned spare keys and manual from the passenger seat and says "oh, you mean these?". We reached out again to the manager, Tom, again just to let him know. "Well you have the car. You know, we are one of the highest reviewed dealerships in the country. There isn't really anything I can do". I cannot stress this enough - do not buy from these people - do not trust them with these purchases.

Made the schedule for an oil change for my 2015 Honda Civic and it was simple and easy, Manny, the service manager i talked to made it easy to find an open spot for the week i was free and when i took my car to the dealership, he explained the process of how they did the oil change and how long it would take. 10/10 would suggest this to family and friends, and come back to their service department.

My only issue was that I had a 11:30 a.m. appointment and my car wasn't seen until almost 1 but they rushed it through and within 15 minutes it was complete. I appreciated the rush as I had an appointment I needed to get to but not getting your car looked at almost 90 minutes after the appointment is set just for an oil change is a bit much.

Two days after the service completed I receive an email coupon for 25% off parts and labor that the dealership won't honor. Tires were rotated and a few days later the tire low inflation light came on. Took car to a tire shop and all four tires were low on pressure. Also, asked for a maintenance schedule since there is not one in the owner's manual. Never received it even though the service person said he would try to get me one.

AutoNation Honda had all four tires in stock I needed to be replaced. They put them on hold before I dropped my car off and everything was all ready for me to just leave overnight and pick up the next day. They also did a full inspection and gave me recommendations of what needs to be repaired for my next service. My service advisor was very friendly and informative and helped make it a smooth and fast transaction with all three kids in tow :)

I feel taken advantage of, I came in for an oil change and that service advisor said I needed my 30,000 mile service at $645.00. I wasn?t prepared for that so opt for the alignment, oil change, tire rotation $173.00 I was quoted. After 2 hours, I didn?t get my tires rotated because they didn?t need to be. Checked the specs on the alignment and they barely touched it please check the specs. All I should have gotten was an oil change.

Called AutoNation Renton and explained that my 91 Civic wouldn't start. I spoke with Manny Culala and he suggested to have a diagnostic test performed. I agreed and Manny set up a appointment for the next day. After having my Civic towed to AutoNation Renton. Spoke with Manny Culala and asked if they could my Civic a complete check up. Manny suggested a 120,000 mile check up, and printed out what was included in the check up. I agreed and he explained the estimated cost for the check up. The next day Manny called and said my car was ready for pick up. I texted Manny and asked for a ride to the dealership. Within 20 minutes a nice man showed up to give me a ride to the dealership. Upon arrival Manny explained everything that was performed and why the car didn't start. Manny also stated that the mechanic suggested three other issues that needed attention. Manny stated that some of the parts have to be ordered .I told Manny to go ahead and order the parts and send me a email when the parts arrive. I had my Accord towed in because of an accident that damaged its transmission. Our service writer Eric, was very professional. From meeting the tow truck, working with my insurance company, and handing back my keys, he kept me updated every step of the way. Called in for a appointment to have my oil changed (on my day off) also I live over in Kitsap area with this Autonation being the closest due to a service contract I have on my truck. Appointment set for 1130 Leave to make appointment on time 945 Arrive1115 No service team member came out to greet or acknowledge I was even there. Was told estimated time for completion 2 pm. 1:15 rolls around and the service advisor came and talked to me and said there running just a little behind and should be done in 30 mins . 2:15 I’m up asking what’s going on and said they are just really busy and should be out soon. 2: 45 I get pulled aside by the service advisor and told that my truck has been sitting in the back with nothing being done to it . My service contract number was placed on the form to where no one knew what to do. So my truck sat back waiting for a oil change and never was done or asked about . Resolution: Nothing Spoke to the service manager Jason Ibanez and he just tried to charm him self out of a really pissed off customer ... I asked for re payment on my time and travel, maybe to figure out a way to fix the problem and he said I could wait a little longer to get my oil change. I told them to give me my key! And left @3:30 4 hrs with NO RESULTS... Unforgivable

I was looking to buy a used Acura RDX and I saw one on their website in early November. My wife and I test drove it and liked the RDX. We were working with a very nice salesman named, Pye. We let Pye know we liked the RDX but the 2017 we looked at had 50K miles, and was AWD. The mileage was higher than we wanted and we were looking for FWD. We continued the next couple of weeks looking at other SUV's (Lexus, BMW, Range Rover). On Nov. 25th, I received an email that a 2017 RDX with FWD and 21K miles just came in to the dealership. We went down to test drive and made the purchase. Our experience with the non-haggle price, the salesman, and the quick financial meeting when paying cash, was a terrific stress-free experience. Firstly, we got a contract for lease 36months with calculation incorrectly for the Honda Passport Touring 2019. It should be $437 instead of $504 monthly.... after discussed and got clarification from Darrin - Customer service director. I would suggest Financing and Sale team should clarify how to calculate between both options buy and lease properly... Should not just base on how much customer can pay monthly then suggest and calculate incorrectly like this case. Hopefully, it?s a good case for sharing your team to improve how to deal/serve with Customer better from next

I bought my HRV at this place winter 2019. I had issues with the purchase and their practices, however, the manager turned things around so I could be pleased. Based on that experience as I know we all make mistakes, I decided to continue a relationship with this dealership. I serviced my car around the summer. As promised when I purchased the vehicle, they honored a free oil change. At that time, I had issues with my GPS. They did not address the issue and stated there was nothing wrong with it. I had to go to Honda of Bellevue for a second opinion. As expected, GPS was faulty and they replaced it. I haven't had any issues since (knocking on wood). Now, I decided to go back ton Autonation Renton for my second oil change, because I overall I did not really have an issue with them. To start, the representative on that day was mostly polite. She told me I needed a B16 service. She did not give me any options or had any concerns about me being able to pay $108 on top of the B1 service. I told her I didn't want the extra work (differential fluid). However, I remembered I had a 30% off coupon so told her to go ahead and do the service. The service took about 30 minutes longer that I was told. The person charged me for a 360 Clorox treatment for germs that I did not ask for. She didn't tell me about it. She didn't even discussed what was done or the finding like my first representative on the first oil change did. When I got home, wondering, why the price was still about the same I found out about this extra "treatment." I called the dealership twice and no one could help. At one point, the last person I spoke to told me that the representative gave me a 30% off. I told this person that she did not give me a 30% off, that I was the one that requested it because I had a coupon. I also told her that the 30% had nothing to do with a service I did not request nor was told about. She told me someone with the name of Justin would call me back in an hour and it has been 5 days. To close, I do not plan to go to this place again for an oil change or any other services. I do have the "protection" package from them so if I need to do something in that nature I will have to return, but this did it for me. I have never had this level of unprofessionalism at the Honda of Kirkland or Bellevue.

We recently took our vehicle in for a manufacturer recall for an air bag issue. The job took approximately 4 hours.(No issued as we were informed before job started). I received a call from customer service and they advised me of "other" repairs that were recommended that totaled in excess of $400. Upon picking up car, I was informed that the driver side airbag was not in stock and that I would have to re-schedule for that to be completed.(Nothing was said when they were informing me of the "other" recommended repairs. We requested a loaner car for the day which was rejected by the dealership.

I signed the paperwork and paid. They did not go over the invoice with me (my fault for not going through it more thoroughly while I was at the shop). When I got home and read the invoice, line by line. I saw that they charged me for a service that I DID NOT ask for and the service wasn't even completed anyways (it was for an interior sanitizing)! So I was charged for them doing nothing! I called the service desk right away and was told I could get a credit on my next visit. That was all! I wanted a refund for the service that was not provided and the woman told me she would pass that message on and I would get a call back. No one ever called me back. I think I'll just take my car elsewhere from now on. How ridiculous.

Was advised I needed new spark plugs (car at 120k) and I did it. Went home to find receipt that I had already done it at 105k. (Same service center AutoNation Renton). I have three cars and didn't remember but since the work was done at the same place they should have it on record. Their checks and balances failed, I've been advised of a significant amount of work still needed on my vehicle but who know if I really need it.

I worked with Bill who was pleasant and efficient. Got me right in and had everything ready to go. I knew I was going to be there for awhile, so I came prepared and was familiar with the facilities, so I had my laptop and snacks with me and hunkered down at a table in their guest area for a few hours while they got my car all good to go. I didn't have to wait more than a minute after my care was ready and the guy (Sorry, I don't remember his name!) that checked me out took the time to walk me to my car and confirm I did have a donut wheel and jack (because I was unsure) before completing the checkout service. Then I was on my way out. It was a thorough job and has been every time I'm there. This was my first experience with AutoNation Honda. We purchased a used CrV with a "No Haggle" price. As a current CrV owner I had several service and maintenance questions about items I knew would be needing maintenance soon based on the mileage, and before I could even ask my questions, Tenzing, our salesperson, had addressed them by going through the thorough pre-inspection report. I also have never purchased with a "no haggle" price, but after researching this purchase for awhile, I was confident that the price quoted was fair, especially considering the 5 day return policy, as well as the warranty offered. That said, not having to spend a day negotiating was great!! Buying process was quick and pleasant. Building was bright, clean, spacious, comfortable. Tenzing and all people I worked with was/were professional, helpful, cheerful. Definitely the best process I've experienced buying a car. I will be back!

I am so disappointed with this autonation store and with autonation as a whole. They gave me an online quote for our vehicle, $1500 above what CarMax offered, which I thought was generous so we made the hour drive from home in two vehicles to sell the one to them. I was honest in answering the online questions regarding the condition - small tear in interior headliner, minor rock chips in paint, average/below average for both exterior and interior conditions. Now, I realize that their “value” of the car can change once in person and if they’d come back in a timely manner and gave us this new offer which was $1500 less than previously quoted, then I would not feel compelled to give them a poor review, but no - they let us sit there for 1 1/2hrs before coming back with the lower number! Kurt Lauman and Khadijah Islam were the sales associates I was in contact with, and I wasn’t happy so I spoke with Mike the sales Manager. Mike couldn’t offer us any more than what they came back with because autonation is such a “corporate company.” Well, it’s too bad they’re too corporate to care about people and their time. I will never deal with autonation again and if I were in the market for a Honda I most certainly wouldn’t be using this dealership. Honestly, I didn’t expect to get what they offered online, but I figured if we could land somewhere between the CarMax offer and the online offer then it was worth the drive. If they’d come back in 20-30 min with the low offer then I would have simply walked away. If they’d have come close to the original offer then it would have been worth my time. The problem here is lack of respect - Autonation doesn’t respect our time and so they will not get our business. Shame on you Autonation. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Been trying to get my AC fixed on my Accord for 3 years, and have gone to two different places, and finally caved and took it here. They diagnosed the issue, and I accepted to pay for the parts and labor. A day later they said the job was complete and issue was fixed, but there needed to be an addition service that was not quoted or informed to me at the beginning. I still accepted as I just wanted it over with. The next day, it was really warm and my AC DID NOT WORK. I came back on Tuesday after Labor Day and explained the issue. They said the would look at it overnight as they couldn’t figure out the issue. Today, 5/29, I pick up my car and they say I need a new PCM which is $1500 without labor and suggested I find a junkyard or go on EBAY to buy the part for cheaper and they would install it for free. I asked for at least a partial refund for my time and money but they said no. So now I’m $700+ in the hole. And have purchased a part on EBAY which may not even fix the issue. I wouldn’t rate communication and customer service very good here. I’ve been a Honda owner for over a decade, but no longer will be after this.

Overall, my experience is good. Everyone is extremely nice and helpful, I just don’t care for John Harmon. He seems low key racist. He’s never personable or friendly like the others. No smile, barely looks at you. Just real matter of fact like. But I watch him interact with others and the experience is not the same. The last two times I was there for service, he assisted me. The first time I dropped in early in the morning and inquired about an oil change. He asked if I had an appointment and I said no. He looked in the computer and said there were no openings. That’s funny because every time I call I can get in the same day. They somehow openings all through the day. I called today, again, early in the morning, and they were like we have an 8:30, 8:45, 9:30, take your pick. But he didn’t even say, do you want to leave your car because I’m sure we can fit you in sometime during the day. Nothing. No options. Just no. So anyway, on my way there today I’m like I hope I don’t get this guy to help me. And sure enough, I get him. But guess what? This time, he passes me onto someone else! Yet, he helped everyone else while I waited for shuttle service. Smh 🤦🏽♀️

My wife went to look at a car and had a good experience - once we started the process to purchase it was all lies, tricks and wasted time. 1. The drivers seat adjust did not work and they said that a fix could cost $4k (the value of the car was $6k). They said that selling it to us in this state was a safety issue and that they may have to write the car off - they ended up selling us the car with the broken seat that we fixed for no cost - why not tell us that they did not want to fix it and deduct the cost from the price. 2. We paid cash for the car but still made us complete a credit form - why? The also charged us $500 for a license fee that we all knew would be around $100. They then tried to pressure us into buying an oil change plan with the $400 that they would give back to us when the plates came in / dishonest! Lies! 3. They tried to sell us comprehensive warranty on a $5,500 car that would almost double the cost of the car? Stupid! Also the car we bought was a volkswagen why would I bring it to a Honda dealership to fix, heck they couldn’t even fix the drivers seat. This car was bought to give my wife a fun car to zip around town during the summer / we are planning to replace he main car - an suv and would have considered purchasing it here but no way I would ever go back to this place - they lie, talk stupid and crazy, insult you intelligence and waste your time! I bought my car at Bud Clary Dodge in Auburn and was treated the opposite of this! Maybe my expectations are too high?

First, use quality oil & filters. (You didn't even use a Honda filter for our oil change. Our regular, independent mechanic does.) Also, STOP trying to upsell services we don't need! You told my wife she needed a 100,000 mile timing belt/water pump for $1300, and she just had them changed 5000 miles ago! How about actually inspecting the cars and determining what they need, rather than just selling everything on your checklist?

So I am a first time buyer and they made the process so easy . My sales associate was Rajah and he made sure that I was put in a car that fits my needs . The sales manager is amazing as well . Repair was $300 to $400 more expensive than I expected. Phoning to check on the progress of the repair was a nightmare. Vehicle was towed to dealership on Tuesday late afternoon; by 10:30 Wednesday morning we had not had any communication from service regarding needed repair or estimated time until job might be done. The vehicle was purchased form Renton Honda several years ago, I have had many service appointments through the years for routine maintience and repairs. The customer service experience has been on a steady decline. I would not recommend this dealership.

Came in on a Sunday afternoon after spending the weekend shopping around, ready to purchase. The store is big, open and very clean. I loved that first impression. I knew exactly what I wanted, in terms of vehicle and financing options. I shared this upon meeting with our sales associate, Pablo Orejuela and he completely respected it. I was looking for a CPO Civic. I inquired via e-mail and was told dealer has one price policy for those cars. My birthday was 3 days away and I’m thinking of possibly getting a car for my birthday. So I decided to go to the dealership to test drive it, thinking if I liked the condition I might consider paying a premium or wait until price goes down. After the test drive I told him I liked the car and asked what the best price he could give me. He spent 15-20 mins talking with his manager and the price remained. I politely told him I’ll think about it as price was still too high for my budget and appreciate his time. He started going about why would I waste his and my time coming to the dealership if I knew I wasn’t going to pay for it. He also advised I shouldn’t go about wasting other salesmen at other dealerships if I wasn’t planning on buying which I thought was rude. He then told all I care about is the price and nothing about building/maintaining relationship with the dealer, which is true but I found it ridiculous nonetheless. Lastly he told me never to come back to this dealership which is for sure after what happened today. I know the internet listed price but the reason I wanted to go was I wanted to see if they were willing to negotiate considering they had lowered the car price several times since it was available for sale more than a month ago. I also wanted to know the condition, the experience in case the price gets closer to what i was looking. The price was just 10% away, less than $2000 so there’s a chance they might lower it further in the near future. There is no need to get upset and insult a customer if he/she decides to walk away. Did I tel you I bought a brand new CR-V from them just over 4 months ago with this same salesperson? He should be more appreciative he earned that business. If there were time that was wasted that is my time as I had to drive 1 hour to get to this dealership, on a recently broken foot carrying my crutches. The dealership could potentially be earning more from having 2 cars maintained on that dealership throughout their lives. Seriously, what kind of dealership would actually treat their prospective, or in my case previous customer, with that kind of arrogance and rudeness? It’s not like it is the only car dealership I can go to. I didn’t expect to be treated like a king at a dealership but at least have some respect for people coming in to your store.

My salesperson Emmanuel was awesome, knowledgeable and very friendly. My family and I visited other dealerships before we went to Honda and I felt a lot of pressure to buy from those sales people at those dealerships. Which deterred me from wanting to buy a car from them. But with Emmanuel I didn?t feel any pressure. He was really laid back and very personable. He answered all our questions and wasn?t pushy about purchasing a car unlike the other dealerships we visited. At the end of the day, we were able to get a new CR-V at an affordable price. Thank you Emmanuel for helping us. I really appreciated the kindness and exceptional customer service you showed my family and I. I will most likely return and have Emmanuel as my go to salesperson.

Tim, our service manager was great. No question about that. The service delivery missed recalibrating my tire pressure sensor before handing it back to me. So, 1/4 mile away from my home the low tire alert appeared after install of a new tire. Bummer. The redemption was Tim talked me through the recalibration over the phone so I didn’t have to turn around and return to the service center in the middle of rush-hour traffic. Well done, Tim!

If you have to buy a car, then this is the best place to buy it!!! You are treated well from the moment you walk through the door by the receptionist until you drive off the lot AND BEYOND!!! They followed me to the car rental to turn in a car to make sure I didn't get lost! They also helped me clean out my trunk that was transferred from the trunk of my totaled car! The sales people, including the sales manager, were a hoot! They are everything you want but can no longer expect from a car sales experience! BUYER BEWARE - This is a VERY condensed version of the events, which spanned three months. There isn't enough space here to tell the whole story. I'd highly recommend any intelligent person stay far, far away from AutoNation and certainly NEVER purchase any of the warranties that they offer, they will fight you on them. I purchased a brand New vehicle in April of 2014 from an AutoNation dealership. As part of this purchase, I also bought a series of extended warranties for the vehicle, one of which was a tire and rim protection policy. The car is a Hyundai, but the warranty is an AutoNation warranty, not Hyundai. This will become important later. Fast forward to Nov 2018, we accidentally struck a pothole and the sidewall on the passenger front tire bubbled up. Mind you, not enormously, but the integrity of the tire was definitely breached. I called the warranty company to verify coverage (pothole damage is covered) and opened a claim. The next three months can only be described as absolute, bureaucratic xxxx. I was handed around, blown-off, ignored and dismissed at almost every turn trying to get AutoNation Honda - Renton (WA State) to honor this warranty. I was told on at least two occasions that the warranty didn't apply since it was purchased at a Hyundai dealership, even though the word Hyundai never appears anywhere in the contract, but AutoNation is blazoned on the top. I was encouraged to open a claim with the state on two occasions, even though I PURCHASED this warranty from AutoNation. Two in-person visits at two different AutoNation dealerships and countless calls, voicemails and blind transfers later, they have the tires back in-stock. The tires were ordered and sent back once during this whole event and had to be re-ordered. I schedule the appointment and take the car in for service. While waiting, they tell me they don't think they have the tires anymore. Finally, one of the dealership managers gets involved and the tires are replaced. I bought a new tire out-of-pocket as part of this ordeal, because I wanted to replace the pair, not just the damaged tire. Seriously, this was one of the shadiest interactions that I have ever had with a business and I am a Comcast customer.

The salesperson Raj that helped me was very polite. I made an appointment but arrived early and he still greeted me though he was helping someone else and would come by to say he was right with me a few times which was appreciated. He even apologized which I didn?t feel he didn?t even need to do because it wasn?t his fault. The price was great! There was no mandatory additions that I needed to buy which was nice. I went to another dealer and they were going to charge me $7,000 more than the price of the car I got here for things I didn?t need and they wouldn?t take them off and we?re very pushy. When I was there I asked Raj if he would send me the final price of the car I wanted after taxes and fees and he did it quite promptly and I left that other dealership to come here to Autonation. Raj was also nice enough to look up to see if there was the color I wanted still available. That might not seem like a lot but the other dealership salesman was pushing me to get a color I didn?t want and I believe it was just so he didn?t have to go and find it. So I really appreciated Raj doing that! The inside was very nice too and clean

As it was a North Carolina car, I asked to view the car on a lift (they salt their roads) to look for rust, as well as take the car out for a pre purchase inspection. They Sold My Car to Someone Else and Wasted My Time. They have incompetent management and a terrible sales process that lacks common sense. Last night December 21st around 4:20PM I visited AutoNation Honda in Renton WA to purchase a 2014 Mini Cooper S. When I arrived, another customer was is negotiation on the Mini Cooper, and I was asked by sales if I would like to wait to see if the sale falls apart. At 5:05PM my salesman and I were notified that the sale fell apart and we were given the keys to the car. We immediately went on a test drive and after the test drive, we proceeded to sign documentation for the purchase (we had the keys with us the entire time). After signing the sales documentation I was sent to financing to finalize the transaction. After waiting 20 minutes in the lobby, the salesman returned to say that the Mini Cooper was sold to someone else. Apparently, while I was on my test drive a 3rd customer who had previously test driven the car several days ago and the Left the dealership returned and purchased the car. Of course, management could not explain how they sold a car while I was in possession of the keys and signing the contract. In my opinion the sales process at this dealership needs some serious improvement. It’s like going to a restaurant to order food and then someone in line behind you orders the exact same thing as you and then takes your order.

Never received a call once the service was complete due to Comcast blocking the Service Center phone number because it comes from out of state. This information came from your service rep, Shawn. If your rep knows you have this issue, then I’m guessing management also knows this call blocking issue exists. If that’s the case then why hasn’t management worked this issue? This is flat out crappy service. I wasted five hours of my day waiting for a call that never came. I had to call your service department to find out. Your service representatives should at least be verifying the contact number is not a Comcast number until you get the issue fixed.

I brought my Honda Pilot in for a recall to be performed and while there Gledjan Vesho advised me there was a second, more critical recall that was in need of being performed. What was supposed to take 45 minutes turned into 5.5 hours. Gledjan Vesho was so friendly and courteous to my sister and I. He offered us transportation through a rental car at no cost. It only took about 20 minutes for the car to arrive. The waiting area was spacious, clean and comfortable, they had several kinds of hot drinks available, it was almost a pleasure to wait, lol. Almost! Gledjan was so efficient and knowledgeable. Thank you, sir for treating us so well! You made a difficult day much more manageable. I bought my Pilot from Renton Honda in 2012 then moved out of State for 4 years. Recently moving to Gig Harbor I’m happy I brought the repairs back to you. TL;DR I wouldn't recommend buying an autonation used car. They seem to not follow their own policies. I recently bought a Chrysler 300c from here, and oh boy, I didn't know their "worry-free" didn't include the two malfunctioning knock sensors that they tried to make me pay for even though it was something that needed to be done before I bought the car. So, their manager Kurt and I worked out a deal and they paid for everything, after I hadbeen waiting for 4 hours at the dealership. Their mechanic Justine was really nice and supportive though. This star is for him. Now the other problem with my car is an electrical issue that I assume I'll have to take to a shop and pay out of pocket for as it makes the car's electricity turn off for a split second.

Purchased a vehicle from Autonation Renton via internet sales. The full payment was wired transferred on October 1. I was told the vehicle would arrive the following week. I was told the truck would be shipped to an Autonation in my area where I would sign the paperwork and leave with my new vehicle. Days later I was told the paperwork would need to be signed before they could schedule the shipment of the vehicle. They had not prepared the paperwork to send to the local dealership. When the paperwork arrived at the local dealership almost a week later, the tax that was paid was not reflected on the bill of sale. To expedite the sale, they agreed overnight a refund for the tax and send the title. It took a few days to get the check, but the title didn’t show up. After numerous broken promises the truck showed up on October 15; over 2 weeks after the payment was sent. The truck was dirty with mud up the side from being driven, one key was not programmed and would not start the vehicle. The key fobs were not programmed either. The 2 rear tires are more than 5 years old which is a safety hazard. The title did not come with the truck and there was not a temporary permit to drive the vehicle. I called multiple times, but no answer or returned call so I used a different cell phone and the picked up on the first ring. I expressed my concerns, but they were unwilling to help. The GM from the local dealership was able to get the temporary driving permit, but Autonation Renton was dismissed by concerns with the keys and tires.

If you are buying from out of state, do yourself a solid and skip AutoNation, and double-skip AutoNation Honda of Renton WA. Or don’t, just be ready to wait a month or more - after you pay for the car. Their check-list for selling cars to out of state buyers is a hand written note (literally, we have a picture), they use a quasi third-party notary to sign docs (even without a loan, and they auto-select Starbizzle as their location of choice for document execution), and the shipping company - which AutoNation selects, took more than a week and three drivers before they could even pick up the car. However, the worst part about AutoNation Honda of Renton is their heinous customer service. Of the 3 Sales Managers, the GM, and the Sales Associate we talked with to arrange the transaction - yes 5 different people were involved in sale of 1 car… for cash (i.e no finance dept) - not one of them ever reached out to us of their own volition to see how the process was moving or if everything had been done as agreed. The notary a.k.a Maverick (Did your mother not like you?) never, not even once, reached out to us. The shipping company, Metrogistics only contacted us after we reached out to them. Throughout this entire dumpster-fire of a transaction not one person at AutoNation Honda of Renton called and said “Hi this is xxxxxxx, and I just wanted to see if everything was progressing well with your purchase, is there anything we can do to help?” As icing on this manure cake, we’re writing this review at their request. Despite how they treated us, they sent an email asking us to review them Google and Cars.com - oops! Maybe they should’ve turned off that auto-drip on their CRM software… oh wait, that would have taken a proactive approach to customer service, which as we’ve stated, is not their strong suit at AutoNation Honda of Renton. Never again AutoNation, never.

I knew exactly what car I wanted. They gave me fair trade value for my vehicle. And an INSANE deal on my new car. I don’t know how they even made money. Almost everything was taken care of online/via text with a firm price on what I was going to finance before I even got to the dealership. They even got me a better rate by almost an entire percent and a rebate I went in with 5k in negative equity in a vehicle I didn’t like, and walked out 7k in the positive. I wish I hadn’t wasted time shopping around with other dealerships that tried to screw me at every turn, and I will definitely use them for future purchases and recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle.

I usually go to Renton Honda to get my car serviced, because it's closer to where I live, they have a waiting for the customers to help themselves to a hot beverage and watch TV, and also vending machines. They also have the newest Honda models in the warehouse for the customers to look at and check out. They also have restrooms. And complimentary car wash if offered and the customer would like to have their car washed before it's given back to them. Unfortunately I didn't buy my Honda Fit from Renton Honda, at another Honda dealership. This time it's discovered that I have an almost dead battery, that's why I was told I needed to have it towed to the Honda dealership to have it looked at.

Leasing a brand new car and a few days later realized it has no heat. Not their fault, but it took 3 hours to tell me what the problem was after I went to the counter and asked for either a new car or a loaner car. Not sure how long they would have left me waiting. It has been an inconvenience to say the least and it is truly a VERY BAD START. Things are still up in the air and I have a loaner car. Not too pleased right now.

I made an appointment on-line (a plus!) to have my oil changed. My 2015 CRV has only 14,000 miles, & other than oil changes, it has not had any other service. They found I needed to replace the engine & cabin filters (every 15,000 miles) & differential fluid. Each time, service advisor, Josh Trichak came to me to clear going ahead with those services. They even completed the service faster than the predicted 1.5 hours since I was only expecting an oil change. I asked Josh about the 15,000 mile service & he said with this service, I had pretty much completed the 15,000 mile service. In my past experience, more than likely they would have made me come in for the 15,000 mile service & I would have paid twice. Being a woman with no mechanical aptitude, I have to be able to trust the service staff. Honda is improving in this area, at least with me. One note, after my service, the very next day my tire pressure warning light popped up, so was my tire pressure really checked on the multi point inspection list? This is my 3rd Honda purchased from this dealership. There was one former service advisor that was dishonest & after my experiences with him, I did not bring my Honda vehicles for service here, not even for an oil change. This was reflected in my reviews of Renton Honda through the Checkbook publication. Thankfully this service advisor is no longer here & is working at another dealership across from the old Grady Way location. I know this because my daughter took her GMC car for repairs at this dealership & I made her leave when I spotted him. AutoNation have kept the "long time" service advisors & they have been pretty reliable, upfront, & aren't gouging you. Even my daughter had a great experience with a potential costly repair to her CRV's heating & cooling system, & was given different options between a $800 repair to $4,000. Service advisor, Bill was very patient & went through some length to explain the different options. Based on the other reviews, & also in their Checkbook reviews, it looks like AutoNation still needs some work, but Josh, Bill, Tim & the other long time service advisors are great!

Complete scam. I purchased a used car and with the no haggle prices and their saying that you should feel good when you leave the dealership is definitely BS. I did have a good and easy purchasing experience but it's all about the car. They did a "50 point inspection" putting an "OK" next to safety items. I specifically asked if there was any rust or cracks that I should be concerned with, and they told me no as it passed their "safety checks" and standards (which are pretty low). During the first week that I drove the car, i kept hearing a clicking noise. I know that since it was a used older car, that I wanted to get a full inspection done on it, so i did. After coming back from my mechanic (who i completely trust with all of my cars), he told me that I had a cracked and rusted differential and it was better to leave it at the shop as it is not safe to drive. Note, i have little kids and a cracked and rusted differential that could break at anytime is a huge SAFETY liability that was completely overlooked by the dealership. While the car was in the shop, I called the dealership and asked them why wasn't this on the inspection sheet as this is a complete safety issue! They said that they didn't see rust...but then later said that yes there's going to be rust on an older used car.... The manager offered to have me bring in my car so they can inspect it. If they overlooked such an enormous issue, what makes me think that a second go would do the trick and obviously they wanted to cover their tracks for not checking the box on their safety sheet.They should have figured this out before i purchased the car. I told him that my car was in the shop and that there was no way I am going to drive an unsafe car to his shop. He kept saying it was my prerogative. Yes it is my prerogative to keep an unsafe car off the road. I called multiple times, with no calls back. I finally emailed the General Manager, who said he would look into it, but pretty much did nothing. I knew there would be a few expenses to put into this car, but I didn't think i would have to worry about replacing the full front differential. I was asking for compensation to pay for the work done on the differential, something that they should have caught from the start. And they refused to pay as they didn't believe it was cracked. I have pictures to prove this as well. Why would I lie about replacing a huge expense on my car?? it's ridiculous. Overall, I will never purchase another car from this dealership. The Used cars are not fully vetted to any standard except check boxes and just beware of the no haggle price. Its no haggle because you will pay later.

I really liked the Service Agent I went through a lot. Good follow up too. However.....two comments (which I did not call back on and won't): 1) My Honda's oil life readout still says 80%, the same as when I brought it in I assume the oil was actually changed and they forgot to reset the oil life indicator (not great) and 2) It may seem like a small thing, but when I've gone to other Honda Dealers or to my Toyota Dealer, they ALWAYS wash the exterior of the car, even when I"m not spending $1,000 on it like I did with Renton Honda Auto Nation this time. It's pretty competitive out there. [Also - I don't like the survey with only Yes or No options. There should be a maybe and/or mostly choice to get an honest answer. "Maybe" I might go back, only because it's close and convenient. They "Mostly" met my expectations.

After calling to schedule an appointment to get a critical recall part fixed, I was scheduled for an appointment within 48 hours. I was helped by Bill Ackerman on the Green Team, who quickly got me back on the road with a loaner. The work on my car was done earlier than expected, and a vehicle inspection revealed by brakes were in poor condition. Bill called right away and was able to get them immediately fixed before I arrived an hour and a half later to pick my car up. Bill was super friendly and wonderful and I couldn't have had a more pleasant experience.

When I got ready to trade in my old car, I discovered that I had lost the title. Not only that, I had misplaced the registration I had just gotten 2 months prior. Organization at work, no problem; at home home, not so much. I was pretty much resigned to a trip to the local DMV licensing office to get it straightened out. A long story short here. Travis at AutoNation had let me know that he could help, and help he did when other dealers did not seem able or willing to do so. Thank you, Travis for saving me from the trip to DMV! So I rolled in with my old Civic and rolled out with a new Fit. I do like it. Funny thing, I simultaneously really miss my manual transmission and really love the new paddle shifters. Janet Diaz was there to help me when I arrived at the dealership. I had thought I had to move up to the EXL trim to get the paddle shifters and Janet was quick to point out that if I didn't need leather seats, I could get the paddle shifters on the EX trim. Score a big point for honesty with this dealership. She was there to answer all my questions. Some of which I had to ask twice, (last time I saw push button starting was in old vehicles from the 40's when I was young. Though, most often, that starter button was on the floor, not the dash (You still needed to put the key in the ignition, though). And real perk for me was the coffee machine dispensing complimentary coffee and my favorite, cappuccinos, hmm..that really helped get me through the day.

Financing is deceptive. I went in with a pre-approval letter already. Confirmed twice that I didn't want to go with any other bank,and in the end ended up going with the bank I originally selected; however I received a credit alert that additional inquiries were made to other banks without my permission and not one person at Auto Nation came forward to tell me that they had done so. I find that quite deceptive and especially rude that when I requested a letter stating what Auto Nation had done, to submit to the credit bureau, I have yet to receive a response from Janet Diaz or Joe. I contacted Autonation over email about a Honda Pilot Touring model I wanted, and they were very prompt in their responses. I walked in a couple of days later and was able to complete the whole purchase process(which included negotiation, test drive and financing) in 3 hours. Omar Lopez was our salesperson, and he worked hard to make this deal work for the both of us. I am happy that i paid less than what i was willing to pay, and there wasn't long delays in the negotiation. I had a loan preapproval when I walked in, and they were able to get a better financing. I also did not want any added accessories or maintenance plans, and the financing person was not pushy about getting them added. All in all, a great experience and I would recommend them.

Unfortunately, there was no EX-L model at dealership at the time, so I settled with another EX model available at dealership, plus an upgrade with leather seat and got a pretty good deal for it. Igor was great and was willing to help me every step of the way till I was satisfied with my choice of the car. I went to the dealership around 5pm, and finished up everything around almost 9pm and folks there were willing to stay to help finish up all the paperwork, despite they were supposed to close at 7pm. Good thing I already did my homework and knew exactly what features, options, color I wanted.

We went to Honda Renton to inquiry for trade-in options for our vehicle. Basically, we wanted to trade our older car for newer (same type). It took some time till someone was assigned to help us. The guy tool around 1 hour to appraise our car and give us an estimate for the trade-in deal. The numbers didn't look promising and eventually that sales representative engaged his manager to talk to us. Manager that came in was terrible. He was very aggressive to me, tried to make me look fool with his language and mimics. He tried to explain obvious things to me in a way that I will feel stupid. It was terrible experience and we decided not to do business with such a person - regardless of the deal they could offer us. I feel that such behavior from any representative is totally unacceptable, is disgraceful to the dealership and should be kicked out (along with people who behave like this) with no exceptions. People should respect each other. This is always true but even more when it's customer-dealership relationship.

Autonation Honda is just the best place to buy a vehicle. I had been looking for months and when I found the right one I was not disappointed! Everything was just as described, there were no hidden issues! They even brought it in out of the rain so I didnt get wet! An amazing buying experience. I filled out the inquiry and was contacted by Michael H in internet sales shortly thereafter. We set an appointment to test drive the 2016 Honda Pilot. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Micheal. The entire process was professional, smooth and although we were on the floor past closing, we were treated with respect, courtesy and professionalism. When Honda screws you over and it takes forever to fix a problem they caused . Go in to fix a recall ; come out with scratches and paint job needed . Told they fixed it; check out the car and it's still scratched . Go back and complain guy says ok wait I gotta talk to my boss ?? Like why say it's fixed in the first place when it's not ?? Annnd I wouldn't be here if they were careful in the first place. Now wasting my morning here . Not the first time I have had problems with this dealership . I can't even trust them to work on my car and it's the dealership where else am I to go ?

I recently purchased a 2008 Dodge Caliber. It's an okay car, but I wish I had taken more time to find a car for my daughter. I had some concerns that make me regret the purchase. Also, I purchased the car a few days ago and it's making really strange noises, started the day of the purchase. I couldn't take it back because I was on the high taking the car to my daughter! It is really horrible on gas! I could go on about my total experience, but I won't take the time! I'm glad I purchased a warranty. I will be taking the car to get checked and hoping that whatever the noise is, will be covered under the warranty! It's sad that dealerships as bid as this one will sell a car with known defects and tell you they won't fix them and you get the car as is! I will not send anyone there, that's for sure.

I don't see my earlier post - here goes again. I used Edmunds,com - received a call from the Internet Sales person. I made an appointment to test drive a 2016 Honda Accord. I really liked the car and went in to work out the details. The price we agreed on was $25,718 - good price, right? Not so, after all extras and taxes - $30,218. She added $599 for a tracking device(she implied that it was a required feature). I asked if she could remove it. 1. She said it built into the car but she'd see if she could have it not be turned on. 2. I was told I would get a portion of the taxes refunded (Were the knowingly overcharging?) 3. I mentioned that I wanted the windows tinted but I could have it done myself. She spoke with her manager- I assume, to have the $599 for tracking removed, but then added charges for window tinting. She said they guarantee their tinting and she didn't want be to be bothered with an inadequate job done elsewhere. 4. I have excellent credit and asked the interest rate they were asking. I never received an answer. Instead I was asked what did I want my payments to look like? I was polite despite this rip off attempt.I left telling her I would call her if I changed my mind. I thought these practices had been outlawed.

Attempted to sell us a $26,000 car for $32,000. Severely low-balled trade-in value, as well. Negotiations during car purchasing are standard, but the "options" AutoNation tried to sell us with this car bordered on the car sales techniques of the 70s and 80s. Very outdated business model, and there's no shortage of Honda dealers in the region who behave in a more modern, transparent, and honest manner. Try one of them, first.

If you want to feel belittled, called a liar and tricked into their sleazy games, COME HERE! what better way to feel devalued by your local car salesmen?! This place is a joke. They slap on "manager" to everyone's name but they don't give you the highest customer service they say they do. Had an issue with a finance "manager",Carlos and was escalated to the the "GM" Keith left me a message stating how "sorry" he was about my experience in his store. And how he'd like to touch base with me because he's "personally" working on my complaint. I call this guy thinking MAYBE for the first time ever, I'd get some REAL service. NOPE! He called me basically to slander me over the phone saying I had missed several payments on my vehicle, my credit had already been messed up before I came into the store, etc. Hahaha! Funny guy... He must not know that nowadays you can check your own credit. Oh and BTW, KEITH, upon buying a vehicle, HONDAS STAFF gave me copy of my credit report as they should when any entity pulls a consumers credit. And it was NOT low at all! This guy... Really?! Oh and here's the kicker... Since I left a 1 star post on yelp he had the audacity to tell me, "Since I personally worked on your case and researched your account (mind you, he didn't tell me anything that I had already confirmed with Honda Financial CS, actually, he blamed a lot of the information he gave me, on them) and IF you would like me to continue to assist you, I'd appreciate it if you'd take down your post on yelp." He refused to help me if I didnt take down my post first. Shouldn't you be of service to me before i give you good feedback? Its like buying a car... I cant take it home for a month and pay you later, right?! Same concept. What are you, Keith?! A general Manager like you "say" or a Yelp coordinator for your store?! Hahahaha!! This is laughable! These guys are a joke! Why is it that "helping" your customer is all of a sudden a burden? You SHOULD help your customers! Its your JOB! **oh and one more piece: Carlos was the same guy who assisted me with my previous car in 2013. He said I was getting into a "good deal". I came in Dec. 2015 and guess what he says to me? "This is a REALLY bad deal." Just a taste of how "customer service" is portrayed here and what type of "sale" they get you into. Unlike the other reviewers on this site, I had a negative experience at Autonation Renton Honda. The difference may be attributable to the fact that I was looking for a used car and most of the reviews on this site are from people who bought new cars; or, perhaps they just hit a desperate patch. Either way, I was not treated well. I went to Renton Honda to test drive a 2013 CRV that was advertised online. I liked the car and offered them $1,000 less than the online price (which had come down several times, as the car had been on the market for a while). After some back and forth involving both the sales associate and the sales manager, they finally understood that I was not there to negotiate, even though I had made it clear from the beginning that it was a take-it-or-leave-it offer. When they agreed to the price, I let them know that I was pressed for time and that I just wanted to make a down payment, sign a purchase agreement, and finish all the paperwork involved in the transaction the next day. They said that they understood and directed me to the finance area, leading me to believe that the the finance manager would get me the purchase agreement and take my down payment. After about 15 minutes, the sales manager called me into his office and started going through the full set of documents very quickly, keeping up a constant stream of friendly chit chat. I indicated again that I needed to be somewhere soon, but he just offered to let me use his phone and kept going through the documents. To speed things along, I agreed to do the financing through the dealership, as the finance manager assured me that, with my credit rating, I would get a good rate. To make a long story short, they pushed through the full set of documents, I missed my appointment, and the interest rate they gave me to finance the car was a full point higher than I would have gotten anywhere else. The last bit of unpleasantness occurred the next day, when I went to pick up the car. I met the finance manager, who had someone bring the car up, and then he told me to wait while he found the original sales associate I had dealt with so he could fill the gas tank ("Because we always fill the tank for Certified Pre-owned Cars"). Ten minutes later the sales associate arrived, and he seemed irritated at having to deal with us, as he was working with another customer. When I told him that we were waiting for the tank to be filled, he looked in at gas gauge and said that the tank was almost half full, which was good for a used car, and then he walked away. We were left on our own to get in the car a drive away.

My husband and I had the best experience at AutoNation. We did not think we could ever get into a nice, new vehicle, but they made it happen. We submitted all our info, they found us a car, got us approved and we picked up the van a few days later. The customer service from start to finish was incredible. We will never go anywhere else from now on to purchase a vehicle. Thank you all for a fabulous experience. I would recommend you to all my friends and family looking for a vehicle.

I normally classify car shopping and/ or buying something akin to a root canal. After looking at a CR-V and then driving similar models from the competition, I returned to Renton Honda to test drive a CR-V. Was helped by Mike Habtemariam. Very helpful, had a car for me to drive in less than 10 mins. Showed me a lot of the features and then took it for a spin. Despite telling him I wasn't quite ready to buy, he was fine with that, no hard sell, no "what will it take to get you in this car today" b.s. Refreshing! That brought me back a few weeks later. Very fair and honest negotiator. Walked out of there 2.5 hours later with my new CR-V. Great job, Mike! Would recommend you to anyone looking for a Honda.

My experience at Renton Honda was very approachable and friendly which I liked. There were no indications of forced sale and more so of what I wanted. Communication was clear and precise so that nothing was misleading. I felt good walking in due to the relaxing atmosphere and no sense of hostility. My sale consultant, James Salinas was very friendly and easy to talk to. He was very clear and helpful in answering all my questions wise ease.

I love my Civic, and Renton Honda is in a great location! I worked with Pablo, and he was one of the most genuine people I've ever met. He took the time to really understand what I needed. Typically, I avoid salespeople and dealerships when it comes to buying cars because I don't like feeling pressured into buying something that isn't right for me, but I didn't feel that here. I'll certainly go to him when I am in need of a new (or gently used) car!
